My Vacation in Words

I know it's been awhile since I've posted. I haven't had the best wifi here. Here's my vacation recap in words. 
Friday: Traveled to Indiana which took exactly 12 hours. Opened gifts
Saturday: Went shopping all day and then went to Paul's In-laws for dinner.
Sunday: Went to Suncrest for church, had a plumbing issue, the washer overflowed, the sinks backed up, watched football, and went to see the Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug at the AMC Theaters.
Monday: celebrated Zach's 8th birthday at a karate place and had a private party at home.
Tuesday: Went to the Grand Lux Cafe. :)

Update!

Things have been pretty crazy! I played 3 offertories this month. Angels We Have Heard on High, Rejoice the LORD Is King, and O Come, O Come Emanuel. The first and last song I made up my own arrangements. The second one I did with Mrs. Quance. Also, I played While You Were Sleeping for the teen choir and Born in a Manger for a duet. Also, I'm playing Then Jesus Came for a choir special and I'm also playing A Higher Call for an octet. PTL for the many opportunities in music!

8,000 views!!!!!!

WHOOHOOO!!!!!!!! I have over 8,000 views!!! Keep the views coming! Lol. So last night, I played offertory for Mrs. Provoost. I had been praying for an opportunity to use my music skills and it got answered! I played my arrangement of As The Deer.

Update!

Well, I'm back! On Monday, I received a call to see if I could play for a group this Sunday. So I've been busy with that along with school, violin, Christmas cards, and crocheting  presents. Pretty crazy huh? Also, Focus on Life has an Instagram account! Follow @FocusonLife273

Life

Well, things have been pretty busy. Between school, Christmas preparations, lessons, and other stuff, things have been pretty crazy! I recently picked up crocheting and have already made a hat and scarf! For some reason, challenges are a lot easier than doing the basic stuff! I have recently been working on my other blog. Nothing exciting going on with me but oh well!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Man, where has the time gone?? Well, here's an update. We had a Youth Rally on the 11-12 and we had an amazing turnout. My team, the Hillbillies, won 1st place!! I've got pictures but still have to motivate myself to go downstairs to finish them. Also, there's a football tournament this Saturday so I'm excited about that. Besides that, it's been a really depressing week.

yes, i know i haven't posted much lately but anyways, I'm in Indiana! i  can't wait to go to FBC this Sunday! Plus, I just found out that I get to play for 2 maybe 3 more offertories! Yippee! Now what to play..... any suggestions?? Also I can't wait for our Youth Rally! WHOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, that's it for now. Don't feel like posting more. :)

Update!

Well, this past week has been pretty hectic with my mom in the hospital and her surgery and then her discharge, and then there was preparing for Sunday! Sooooooooo on Sunday, John Bailey had a little show for the juniors and primaries and then gave a message. I have lots of pics and I recorded the show in junior church. I got to lead the singing, ( my dad led 1) and that was pretty fun. While my dad had to go sing with a group, Jacob and I handled things down in junior church with our regular stuff. The kids really enjoyed Bro. Bailey and 6 girls and 2 boys got saved! PTL!!!! 3 of the girls were visitors from the Sodus route. Amazing! Sunday night, I got to practice with the adult choir and boy was that nerve wrecking! Bro. Cialini opened the piano up and then he's like "does that make you even more nervous?" and of course I nodded my head yes. hmmm..... anything else...... this Sunday, we'll know the final scores of the competition! Cliste vs. A Shaarc! May the odds be ever in your favor!

Update!

Well, I haven't posted much lately so here's an update! Last night, I played my arrangement of Come Thou Fount for the offertory. When playing, I just feel like I have to put my emotions into my work. Praise GOD for blessing it!!!! Also, on the 18th and the 25th, I shall be filling in for Mrs. Muilwyk. Isn't that scary or what? I'll be playing prelude, congregationals, choir specials, and offertory on Sunday night (18th) and Sunday morning (25th). We're doing the Secret Place. Well, I guess that's it! Toodles!!

Ok so last night, I was scheduled to play offertory in church. Boy was I nervous! I couldn't believe I was actually playing offertory! Thankfully, looking at Courtney smiling was enough to settle my nerves. GOD really blessed my offertory! The teens sang He Loved Me Like I Was His Only Child and they did superduperifical!

Ok so I didn't know what to call this post so anywho, camp is in a week! Sad to say, Zac is coming as a counselor. Oh well, I guess the teen guys need more supervision than the girls. :P So I practically packed almost everything except for the things that I still need to use. *sigh* what a pain. The good news is that Bro. Cialini is coming to camp!! Yippee!! Random fact, why is it that once you've finished packing your suitcase, it feels heavy but you know that you packed ONLY the things you need?? That's life for you. The good thing in having a good sized suitcase is that it decreases the amount of stuff you actually have with you in your seat on the bus.

Camp!!!

Well as you can all see by my countdown. there is just 16 days left till camp!! EEKKK!!!!!! My how time flies. Too bad it doesn't go any faster so that us 2015 graduates can graduate!! Anywhoo.... the camp theme this year is No King But King Jesus or something similar. Bro. Charlie Clark will be the special speaker at camp! The teens are singing Nail It To the Cross and I'm playing Be Thou My Vision for one of the offertories.
